Hair Shaft: the section of hair that is visible and protrudes from the skin.

Ingrown Hair: A terminal hair that is blocked at the surface of the skin causing the hair to redirect and continue growing in the hair follicle.

Pore: An extremely small hole opening on the surface of the skin that allows liquids, and other small particles to pass through.

Waxing: the process of removing unwanted hair from a part of the body by applying wax and peeling off the wax and hairs together.

Shaving: The act of removing hair with a razor at the surface level of your skin.
